The IHBC writes:

Welcome to the June edition of the CPD Circular. In this issue, we are delighted to share a series of IHBC events coming up over the months ahead organised by our regional branches and National Office. We begin with an event hosted by the Scotland Branch on Conservation-led Regeneration and Restoration on 7 June.

Following on from this, we will be in Shrewsbury from 12 to 14 June for this year’s IHBC Annual School which will be on the theme of Heritage in Context: Value > Plan > Change.

Virtual delegate places are still available for the Friday Day School, starting from just £35 +VAT.

For more information on the school, or to view the full programme and book your place, please visit shrewsbury2025.ihbc.org.uk.

Later in the month, on 19 June, there will be a free, online Supporter Surgery for those who are looking at advancing from Supporter status to Affiliate membership.

This will be followed by an in-person event hosted by the Scotland Branch who will be looking at ‘Finding the Balance: Built Heritage & Landscape Conservation in Development Planning’ on 20 June.

The South West Branch will be hosting a training day in Totnes on the Structural Repair of Historic Buildings on 24 June, and the North Branch will be exploring Practical Archaeology and the Planning Process, in Carlisle, on the 27 June.

As we look ahead to July, the North Branch will be hosting another event on the 4th in Newcastle upon Tyne, offering a Review of Historic Building Legislation, led by Charles Mynors.
