Timed to mark the 100-year anniversary of the Paris exposition that introduced art deco to the world, this special edition of Dezeen Agenda explores the style’s origins, key moments, major figures and legacy.
On 29 April 1925, the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes began in Paris, catapulting the design style now recognised as art deco onto the global stage.
