HE ‘shares learned lessons’ in publishing ‘Heat Pumps in Historic Buildings -Air Source Heat Pump Case Studies – Small-scale Buildings’

Historic England has published Heat Pumps in Historic Buildings to share the lessons learned from a study of ten small-scale historic properties with air source heat pumps installed as their primary means of space heating.

Historic England writes:

The study was designed to help understand which factors influence good system performance and what can lead to poor system performance. The findings will be of interest to those thinking of changing their heating source to a heat pump and how to achieve a successful installation.
