Easier IHBC Affiliate applications update: First online ‘surgery’ starts 1-2pm, 15/03 (IHBC CPD too!)

The IHBC’s suite of new help and guidance making it even easier for our Supporter members to advance to the new Affiliate member category includes regular ‘drop-in’ surgeries, the first of which takes place on 15 March, from 1pm (No booking needed; Recognised IHBC CPD).

Anna Hart, IHBC’s Education, Training and Application Support Officer said: ‘The new video screencast is the latest addition to the new suite of guidance and resources which accompanies the streamlined affiliate application form. It provides applicants with important information to support them as they complete their applications and begin their journey to formal accreditation.’

the intention is to make the process as quick and straightforward as possible for applicants

‘We hope that this additional guidance will provide useful information on what is expected from applicants, for this membership category, and how to increase their chances of securing Affiliate membership first time. As with the streamlined application form itself, the intention is to make the process as quick and straightforward as possible for applicants, with clear and accessible guidance to support our broad membership.’

… Supporter Surgeries, available to anyone looking to apply for Affiliate membership…

‘In addition to the new guidance, we are also commencing a series of monthly (and on-request) Supporter Surgeries, available to anyone looking to apply for Affiliate membership.  These online sessions are free to attend, so just drop in using the link on the affiliate application webpage.  All sessions run from 1pm to 2pm.’

‘Whether you are new to the IHBC and are considering applying for Affiliate membership, or you are an established member and would welcome some additional clarification of the process, you are invited to join one of the sessions for an opportunity to speak directly with Anna Hart, who will try and answer your questions and provide general advice regarding the application process.’

Anyone seeking further support on the process, but unable to attend one of the Supporter Surgeries, is encouraged to contact Anna Hart at training@ihbc.org.uk who will look to arrange additional dates, and even arrange for dedicated support from the IHBC as capacity allows.
