The IHBC has been asked by the Planning Inspectorate (PINS) to remind our members that the IHBC is an ‘Approved professional body’.
Professional membership of the IHBC – which applies only to those who are ‘Full Members’ of the IHBC – is recognised by the Planning Inspectorate as an appropriate professional qualification for employment there.
The IHBC was omitted in error from the Planning Inspectorate’s paper ‘List of Approved Bodies’ circulating with the information provided for the ‘non-salaried inspector’ posts currently advertised there.
