COTAC – the Council on Training in Architectural Conservation – is the UK’s building conservation skills link body, and it has issued its second Newsletter, which announces its 60th Anniversary Conference, on 6-7 November, 2019, at the Engine Shed, Stirling, as well as much more.
Michael Netter, COTAC Secretary and lead on its Newsletter service, said: ‘Each newsletter is designed to contain a promotional item about COTAC, a relevant photo with caption, a snippet from a past COTAC newsletter, and a brief introductory note; the remainder of the content will be providing readers with news regarding heritage and conservation skills and training both domestically and internationally.’
‘Hopefully this will become a key ‘service’ which can be used to help promote COTAC to members, stakeholders and potential funders.’
COTAC writes:
Much is going on in COTAC’s 60th Anniversary year, from planning our upcoming conference in the Engine Shed 6-7 November, to releasing our first of a planned series of Regional Studies, to coming across in the archives the minutes of our very first meeting back in 1959….
