CCT – IHBC’s latest 2018 School Friend – offers Blogpost on the 2018 School while welcoming new CPD recognition

CCT websiteThe Churches Conservation Trust (CCT), one of the IHBC 2018 School’s newest ‘School Friends’, has posted a blog on its recognition as an ‘IHBC CPD provider’ and used that to promote the IHBC’s Belfast School, in June, on ‘Our Shared Heritage’. 

IHBC Director Seán O’Reilly said: ‘We’re delighted that the CCT is taking on the easy duties of a School Friend by highlighting the opportunity in its social media, using a new blog post celebrating the CCT securing ‘IHBC CPD Recognised Provider’ status to draw attention to the benefits of the School. 

CCT writes:

We’re delighted to announce that the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) has registered the CCT as a ‘recognised CPD [Continuing Professional Development] provider’ for our training in community-led regeneration. As an organisation that is committed to best practice within the heritage sector, IHBC promotes ongoing learning and professional development for everyone interested in caring for the historic environment.

This year IHBC’s annual summer school takes the theme of ‘Our Shared Heritage: communication, negotiation, transformation.’ It runs Thursday 21 – Saturday 23 June in Belfast. For further details, please visit the IHBC website.
