National Audit Office: Weak controls and oversight blamed for faulty home installations under energy efficiency scheme
A new report from the National Audit Office (NAO) sets out the reasons for failures in the government’s energy efficiency scheme for homes, including poor-quality installations, weak government oversight and inadequate audit and monitoring.

Government Retrofit System Reform Advisory Panel: terms of reference

Action taken to protect households with poor-quality insulation
The government has taken immediate action after checks found widespread cases of poor-quality solid wall insulation installed under inherited ECO4 and GBIS.

IHBC Technical Panel Chair Professor John Edwards will share the stage with Jill Fairweather of Cadw and natural insulation product manufacturers to talk about the need for a more informed approach towards retrofit and insulation of traditional building.
