Communities Secretary Eric Pickles has dismissed an appeal by Nottingham Trent University which wanted to put up two wind turbines at Brackenhurst College at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, as both inspector and Secretary Of State concluded that the benefits of the scheme did not outweigh the impact of the proposals on the settings of local listed buildings, including Southwell Minster and the landscape setting of local conservation area.
