IHBC offers thanks to contributors to our second survey

The IHBC’s President Trefor Thorpe has offered a collective ‘thank-you’ from the IHBC to all those who contributed to the recent online member survey, which gathered opinions and thoughts on the IHBC’s operational and strategic priorities for the future.

Trefor Thorpe said: ‘We’ve been most impressed with the scale of response on this, our second member survey.  We always knew it would be challenging to get the right level of input, as the questions were of necessity relatively abstract.  But with some 160 responses – more than half the number we received in our first and more accessible survey of 2014 – we’re clear that our members are happy to fully engage with these issues when they can.  We’re also confident that we’ve gathered a wide spread of in-depth thoughts and opinions from across the full breadth of our constituents.’

‘We’ll now work at getting our analyses and responses back to you all over the coming weeks in the usual way, through our NewsBlogs.  And of course we’ll follow that up with our corporate planning developments in the coming months as well, informed by the survey data.  So keep an eye out across our publications to make sure that your priorities continue to register in our forward planning.’

‘Once again many thanks to all who contributed, while in the meantime if there’s any more you would like to add please be sure to feed it back to us in whatever way you prefer, for example through your Branch or national contacts, including myself, all of which are identified on our website.’

‘And once again many thanks to all who took the time to respond.  We will make every effort to ensure that our forward planning does justice to your efforts.’
