Two areas of government of particular relevance to many IHBC members (DCLG and DCMS) have recently been reorganised.
The Government press release notes:
- Brandon Lewis is promoted to Minister of State for Housing and Planning at the Department for Communities and Local Government
- Lord Ahmad is promoted to Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Department for Communities and Local Government
- Penny Mordaunt MP is appointed as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Communities and Local Government
- Elizabeth Truss MP is appointed as Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
- Ed Vaizey is promoted to Minister of State at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills
