Last week the IHBC’s NewsBlog service offered the ‘Storify’ record of the first day of the Edinburgh Annual School, which brought together highlights of the tours on the opening day of the School, on 5 June.
This week our NewsBlog highlights the Day School programme from Friday 5 June. This includes social media postings and the conference programme and press releases from the Scottish Government, represented by the keynote speaker Cabinet Secretary Fiona Hyslop MSP, as well as interviews with delegates and exhibitors that you can listen to, and photographs of the evening events.
You do not need to have any social media accounts to delve into this digital presentation of the School, as Storify is like a newspaper in a long webpage, you simply scroll down and read page by page.
The September edition of the IHBC’s membership journal Context, edited by Deborah Mays, will include a full write up of the school, and our School web site carries many other programme details and resources. Storify offers anyone an a reminder of highlights, or an accessible digital taster of what it might have been like to be there.
