Unlisted Welsh pub faces demolition: Significance explored

An unlisted 400 year old public house in Ewloe has recently been proposed for demolition as part of redevelopment plans in the area as residents and community members call for its retention, recording and listing as well as the recording of folk stories surrounding its significance.

News North Wales reported on the discussions to save the pub, with requests for listing being submitted to RCAHMS Wales and discussions being held in the community about objecting to the demolition scheme.
