A proposal to construct wind turbines at Burton Agnes has been refused, with significant weight being given to the potential effects on the conservation of the built environment.
The scheme was assessed as having a detrimental affect on Burton Agnes conservation area, a potentially harmful impact on Burton Agnes Hall and Woldgate Rudston archaeological sites.
