The IHBC’s 2014 School bursaries for the forthcoming School in Edinburgh have now been awarded, with awards ranging from £200 – £450 per person, as the IHBC continues to target its support for those most in need, most likely to benefit the sector, and most ready to make the effort to apply.
Bob Kindred, IHBC’s officer responsible for managing the bursary awards said: ‘The Institute has been delighted to support seven bursary applicants to be at the Annual School in Edinburgh in 2014. The bursaries are intended to enable members to attend when their personal circumstances would otherwise have not allowed them to benefit from the Institute’s most important learning and networking event of the year.’
‘All the successful applicants made convincing cases of how they might benefit from the award and how they hoped to contribute to the School. I hope they will have an informative and enjoyable time that will be helpful in their future professional lives’.
‘And while the national bursary awards are closed, members seeking support should also remember to check with their local Branch to see if they are offering support.
