The Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) has agreed to offer its extensive voluntary network of Branches in England up to £150 each to support engagement with the consultation on England’s National Heritage Protection Plan (NHPP), led by English Heritage
IHBC Chair Mike Brown has written to IHBC Branches as follows:
Following the announcement of the Consultation on the National Heritage Protection Plan… it has been agreed to offer up to £150 to any Branch in England seeking to engage with England’s NHPP consultation.
Funds might be used for anything including stand-alone or partnership events, or to simply help cover travel costs to the EH-hosted meetings taking place across England. Additional funds may be available for special cases.
Due to the limited time available for the consultation, there is complete flexibility in how Branches wish to allocate or manage these allocations, and they can also be requested in advance to help cash-flow….
In the coming weeks the IHBC will also undertake an online survey, related to the NHPP, to help inform our own consultation response.
