The winners of the Placemaking Awards have been announced. with the 17 winners including the Old Stables Heritage Centre, Pembrokeshire for Best Use of Heritage in Place-Making.

The Old Stables project was submitted by Pembrokeshire Local Action Network for Enterprise and Development (PLANED) and involved the conversion of a stable building into a heritage centre. Planning Resource noted that judges commended the significant local impact the project has had, and the high level of volunteer engagement. The Ancoats project in Manchester was highly commended.
Northumberlandia, a public art scheme in Northumberland involving the reclaiming of a former coal landscape won the Award for Best Use of Arts, Culture or Sport in Placemaking.

- Planning Consultancy of the Year- Tibbalds Planning and Urban Design
- Award for rural placemaking- Building Vital Communities: the Three Parishes Project, Norfolk
- Award for Mixed-Use Development- Swansea Urban Village
- Award for Partnership Working- No Use Empty, Kent
- Award for Design Excellence- Joint winners: Leicester Square City Quarter, London, and Grass Routes Van Gogh Walk, London
- Award for Best Housing Scheme- Kidbrooke Village, London
- Award for Public Participation in Planning- Church Street, the Future of your Neighbourhood, London
- Award for Regeneration- Andover Estate Development Plan
- Award for Sustainability- Clean and Green, Victoria, London
- Award for Development Management- Oxford City Council Development Management
- Placemaking Team of the Year- Chesterfield Borough Council Regeneration Team, Derbyshire
