English Heritage is looking for six new Commissioners to provide strategic direction during a time of change which will include a major project to set up and license a charity to manage the National Heritage Collection.
EH writes:
There are three general and three specialist vacancies. For the general vacancies, given the challenges and opportunities which face English Heritage over the next few years, we are keen to encourage applications from people with senior level experience in business transformation, customer facing operations or IT and digital. For the specialist roles, we are looking for a respected historian, someone with expertise in conservation and someone with an understanding of the issues associated with owning, maintaining and conserving a historic property or estate.
Appointments are made by the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. Further details of the Specialist and Generalist roles and how to apply are given on the Cabinet Office website at: LINK
