Renewable energy developer RWE Npower is considering appealing against West Lindsey District Council’s unanimous refusal of its ten-turbine wind farm, subsequently reduced by one turbine, proposed for a site at Hemswell Cliff near Gainsborough. The council said the scheme would damage the local landscape and dominate the setting of nearby heritage assets.
Developer RWE Npower Renewables had proposed a ten-turbine wind farm and supporting infrastructure at Hemswell Cliff, near Gainsborough.
