The Institute of Conservation (ICON), the UK’s professional body for conservators, has announced a number of internships funded by Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and the National trust (NT).
They are:
HLF1401 Collection Care in Archives hosted by The National Archive
HLF1402 Preventive Conservation hosted by Norfolk Museums
HLF1403 Decorative Surfaces/Wallpaintings hosted by Paine & Stewart
HLF1404 Botanical Materials hosted by the British Museum
HLF1405 Modern Materials hosted by the V&A
HLF1406 Textiles hosted by Textile Conservation Ltd
HLF1407 Furniture and gilding hosted by Tankerdale Ltd
HLF1408 Books hosted by Caroline Bendix
HLF1409 Preventive conservation hosted by The Horniman Museum
HLF1410 Library Materials hosted by the National Library of Scotland
HLF1411 Photographic Conservation hosted by RCAHMS
HLF1412 Clocks hosted by The Cumbria Clock Company
In Addition there are 2 new Internships funded by Manchester City Galleries and the National Trust.
