New Welsh guidance for external solid wall insulation

The Welsh Government has published a leaflet which provides information on installing external solid wall insulation, in accordance with new permitted development rights.

Under the new rights, householders can now install external solid wall insulation without the need to apply for planning permission, as long as certain requirements are met.

The leaflet notes that it ‘does not address technical issues relating to, or discuss the merits of, installing external solid wall insulation.’
