English Heritage (EH) has commissioned research into the use of heritage information in the preparation of community-led planning projects and a questionnaire has been issued.

The first stage of the research involved talking to local authority heritage professionals about the products and services they are able to provide, in order to create a picture of what information is available to the public.
The latest phase of the project is focussed on community groups, especially those undertaking a Neighbourhood Plan.
