IHBC 2013 Annual School: early bird rates extended 1 week only!

There is still time to book at the early booking reduced rate for the IHBC’s 2013 Annual School on Skills in Carlisle from June 20-22, which will be extended for a week to midnight on Friday 26th April.

Fiona Newton, IHBC’s project officer said: ‘We’re delighted to be able to offer this extension to the reduced early bird rate. If you had thought it was too late to book at the reduced rate, there is still time.’

‘This extension is especially to help those just back from the Easter holidays and those following up on the paper notices in the IHBC’s journal Context, or in our IHBC Yearbook, both of which came out in the last week.’

Sean O’Reilly, IHBC director, said, ‘The School is about networking, of course, but also about CPD. So, where needed, please do highlight to your manager the value of learning about skills just now, and what makes them so critical to professional development – and business opportunities – in these parlous times.’

‘In Carlisle, in June, among other things you will have the chance to:

– see how changing policies are shaping skills needs and priorities

– explore current practice in areas ranging from project management to craft skills

– find out about funding opportunities and support

– learn about new ways to generate skills and learning

– and examine what skills we need when managing new and old together!’

Early bird rates include the Day School members’ rate of £150 including VAT and the excellent value of the Full School members’ rate, with three days packed with events, food and two nights high quality hotel accommodation, for £444 including VAT.
