Planners have been invited to submit proposals to find new uses for disused or abandoned spaces in London and Preston.
The Forgotten Spaces competition is run by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in conjunction with the Mayor of London, the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and the Landscape Institute.
The competition is open to students, artists, design professionals, planners, members of the public and local groups (led by a professional) living in the UK.
The initiative focuses on redundant and neglected spaces across Greater London and Preston and invites innovative proposals for their re-use and adaptation.
