TSB writes:
The aim is to equip SMEs with the skills to innovate, develop and grow their business.
Up to £5000 of vouchers are available to UK start-up, micro, small or medium-sized businesses to develop innovative solutions in specific thematic areas. For the current round, these areas are:
1. Agri-food
2. Built environment
3. Space
4. Energy, water and waste
5. Open data innovators and inventors
The funding provides access to a range of built environment specialists, research and technology organisations, design advisers and universities who can help SMEs develop their ideas and improve performance. Services include providing advice on an innovative idea, guidance on using design within one’s business or the management and use of intellectual property.
TSB plans to invest over £2 million a year in supporting innovation through the voucher scheme. The closing dates for applications are 23 January 2013, 10 April, 24 July and 23 October.
Vouchers are allocated following a draw from all applications. For more information, visit: LINK
