Due to demand the closing date of The Duke of Gloucester’s Young Achievers Scheme, with Categories in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management and Surveying, has been extended to 16 November 2012 .
The Awards is an opportunity for exceptional young professionals to be commended and celebrated for their achievements. The finalists will be judged by a prestigious panel of experts through a rigorous process of presentations and interviews.
The Duke of Gloucester’s Young Achievers Scheme is intended to promote the construction industry to young people of all backgrounds and, as a result increase the number and diversity of entrants into the sector.
The judges will be particularly looking for young people who have not only achieved excellence in their careers so far but may have had to overcome challenges to get there. They will also look for individuals who have gone the extra mile to promote construction as a career or helped others in the wider community.
Winners will receive a unique package of support through the Trust and development opportunities through a one year mentoring programme to enable them to make an even greater impact in their future careers. There will be an additional prize for the overall winner.
