NI regulator pauses charity registration invites amid systems upgrade plans

The Charity Commission for Northern Ireland (CCNI) has stopped inviting registrations of new charities until September as it plans an update to its online systems.

Civil Society writes:

CCNI is implementing a ‘more modern design and clearer guidance’ to its My Charity Login service, through which charities file their annual returns and update their details… CCNI has also asked organisations working on a charity application to submit their completed forms before the end of July.

It has advised those organisations with incomplete applications to save and print a copy if they are unable to file theirs before the deadline… It will contact charities in September once the new system is live.
