The Government has launched a new £10m fund to help communities finalise neighbourhood plans and provide for homes, businesses and facilities.
The fund will be made available to councils to help cover the cost of providing support and advice to local groups which are progressing neighbourhood plans and to go towards the cost of the neighbourhood plan examination and local referendum.
Meanwhile, the Thame Neighbourhood Plan has gone out for statutory public consultation. It is one of the front-runner projects which has Government financial support. The plan contains some very significant policies, including allocating land for 775 new homes and planning for retail growth to support the town centre.
