IHBC NO Branch hosts ‘free & open’ CPD & AGM at Seaton Delaval

The North (NO) Branch of The Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) is hosting a free continuing professional development (CPD) event at the National Trusts’ Seaton Delaval Hall on 9 October, themed around community and linked to the Branch AGM, with all welcome.

Stewart Ramsdale, IHBC North Branch Chair, who is retiring from his post with the Branch at the AGM, said: ‘I’m delighted that we’re able to run this particular event for free, as so many of our members and colleagues face such difficult economic times just now, whether in work or not. And we are also hoping to gain a few new volunteers for committee posts as well, so if anyone is interested please do let me know.’

‘For low income members too, it is also worth noting that the IHBC’s charitable status means that we keep costs to a minimum, help subsidise costs for those earning less than £17,500 pa, while active volunteers in need can seek special hardship support.’
