Nominations are open for The Prince of Wales Medal for Arts Philanthropy, with a closing date of 6 September.
Arts and Business writes:
First awarded in 2008 to five individuals or couples per year, this Medal recognises a sustained contribution to the nation’s cultural life over a period of time, or a major gift.
If you represent an arts or heritage organisation and know of up to three inspiring cultural philanthropists that deserve to be celebrated, please see the Arts & Business website for the form and further information. The deadline for nominations is 6 September.
Past recipients of the medal include: Dame Vivien Duffield CBE; Roger De Haan CBE; Lord and Lady Sainsbury; Helen Thorpe; (The late) Lord Wolfson & Family; Jonathan Ruffer; and Theresa Sackler.
