The IHBC writes:
This month, we are delighted to highlight a series of CPD training events hosted by IHBC Branches across the UK, beginning with the Scotland Branch, who will be in Stirling ‘Exploring Historic Lime Finishes’ with Dr Tim Meek on 3 October.
Following this, we have not one, but two opportunities to explore the highly relevant and sometimes challenging topic of Fire Protection and Regulations in the context of historic buildings, as the South Branch host their event Newbury on 10 October, followed by the East Anglia Branch AGM 2025 and Training Day in Bury St Edmunds on 22 October.
Looking ahead to November, the South East Branch will be hosting an event on the 14th in Maidstone, one the topic of ‘Protecting our Heritage: Enforcement Policy and Practice’….
Network Events:
In addition to IHBC events, we are also pleased to spotlight several other events taking place across the UK over the coming months. This month, we begin with the Scottish Lime Centre Trust (SLCT), who are hosting a Climate Change masterclass on 31 October. As well as being an IHBC Recognised CPD Provider, IHBC members also benefit from a 20% discount off all courses with the SLCT.
Meanwhile, The Lutyens Trust will be hosting a Day Conference, Speaker’s Dinner and Interwar Oxford Walking Tour in Oxford on 1 and 2 November, exploring the work of Sir Edwin Lutyens and his contemporaries 1920-40 Architecture – a three-dimensional art. Find out more HERE.
