IHBC features ‘Heritage from the doorstep’: Update on state of Woolton Hall building after devastating fire

Woolton Hall has been destroyed throughout and every floor of the manor house has collapsed after a fire tore through it, reports The Liverpool Echo.

The Liverpool Echo writes:

Drone pictures… showed the building has been severely damaged by the blaze, with the roof largely destroyed… several of the sandstone walls are leaning….

The grand manor house on Speke Road in Woolton was built in 1704… underwent an extensive renovation 68 years later, undertaken by influential architect Robert Adam….
