IHBC features ‘Heritage from the doorstep’: Moderator visits ‘landmark’ Cumbernauld church devastated by fire

To support the devastated congregation the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland visited the ruins of St Mungo’s Church in Cumbernauld, Alan Reiach’s iconic church destroyed by fire, reports The Herald Scotland.

The Herald Scotland writes:

Rt Rev Rosie Frew stood shoulder to shoulder with members of the former St Mungo’s Church in Cumbernauld on Wednesday as they surveyed the wreckage of what was an iconic landmark at the heart of the town. She said they are ‘grieving’ the loss of a beloved gathering place…
