A decision has been made on whether or not the historic Glasgow Vogue cinema will be demolished, reports The Glasgow Times.
The Glasgow Times writes:
The former Vogue cinema on Balmore Road has been saved after a Scottish Government reporter decided to dismiss the appeal… concluded that the site is of special architectural and historic interest, keeping its C-listed status.
The decisionmaker reasoned: ‘… I agree with Historic Environment Scotland (HES) that cinemas… from the 1930s period are now exceptional…’
