IHBC features ‘Heritage from the doorstep’: Future of Southend’s Kursaal discussed at Parliament meeting

The future of a landmark seafront building in Southend, the Kursaal, has been discussed at a meeting in Parliament, reports The Echo.

The Echo writes:
Bayo Alaba, MP for Southend East and Rochford, organised a meeting on Tuesday with AEW, Southend Council, and Historic England to discuss the future of the Kursaal. He said: ‘… We also had the chance to feedback to AEW about what local residents want to see for the Kursaal’s future….’

The leader of Southend Council, councillor Daniel Cowan… added: ‘My administration has made it clear that getting the Kursaal back into use is a key motivation for us…’
