Heritage Open Days want to help you share new stories and sites and applications are now open for a second round of grants to support organisers new to the festival.
Heritage Open Days writes:
The offer
- £350 to deliver an event for the 2025 festival.
- A 1-2-1 with a member of our team to answer any questions.
Entry criteria and application form
1. You must be new to the festival community.
2. You must be planning an event highlighting an under-represented history.*
We will prioritise applications from:
- individuals from a Global Majority* background,
- individuals aged 18 – 30,
- organisations / groups that are led by anyone from these backgrounds (CEO / director / leader or more than 50% of staff / volunteers),
- individuals/organisations co-creating with anyone from the above backgrounds.
*We want to diversify the festival so will prioritise these backgrounds and stories as they are currently under-represented
Timeline
- 12 May – Applications open
- 30 June – Applications close at 9am
- 15 July – Outcomes announced by this date
