The Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) is delighted to announce Berrys, as the Saturday Tour Sponsor for the Institute’s 2025 Annual School from 12-14 June 2025, in person in Shrewsbury and online.
Phoebe Farrell, Partner and Head of Heritage and Conservation at Berrys said: ‘Berrys is delighted to be supporting IHBC as sponsors of the Saturday Tours at the IHBC Annual School. We are thrilled for the event to be on our doorstep in Shrewsbury this year, a town in a county with so much rural and industrial significance. I’m even more excited to be leading one of the tours around the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site where I began my career as a conservation officer!’
‘Berrys is a property consultancy business that’s a little different to all the rest. Covering all land and property-related services under one roof, we pride ourselves on helping to make a difference. Working from four offices across the Midlands, we offer an array of services including planning, architecture, archaeology, building surveying, valuation and business consultancy to help our clients make the most of their assets.’
‘Whether our clients are from the commercial, residential or rural sectors, drawing on experience across all areas allows us to see the full picture. With attention to detail that we apply to every aspect of a project, we can find solutions that help balance the ever-changing nature of our economic landscape and the challenges we face. You can count on us to be there for you at every stage of your project. We are your trusted advisor, able to step in at any time for whatever challenges you might face. This is your life, your business, your project. We’re just here to help.’
The IHBC Annual School, the major training event in the conservation calendar, will look at the complex relationship between ‘context’ and the historic environment, how we value, manage, and preserve its significance in the face of continued change and intervention.
The School takes place both on line and in Shrewsbury, from 12-14 June, and centres on the stand-alone Day School on Friday 13 June.
