Fully funded training in the retrofit of traditional and historic buildings is now available in Wales, achieving the Level 3 award qualification, delivered by the Environment Study Centre and presented by IHBC Technical Panel Chair Professor John Edwards.
Professor Edwards said: ‘The Level 3 award qualification Is required by BSI standards and government funded retrofit schemes and it’s pleasing that the Welsh government are again providing fully funded places for those that live in Wales, and this might be the last time it is offered’.
Professor Edwards created the qualification and the first course for CITB in 2015 and over 2,000 have attended this course.
The course includes a free eBook in the form of an online learning platform which is available for a year after completion of the course free of charge.
