The Met Office has launched a beta version of its Local Authority Climate Service, presenting climate data at local authority boundaries along with supporting tools and guidance.
The Met office writes:
This site provides tools and resources that have been specifically designed for Local Authorities to help you better understand climate change in your local area and support your adaptation journey.
This information may be useful for others, not just Local Authorities. It is free and available for all. This is a Beta service and will be developed further.
Understanding climate risks in your area
Local Authorities are facing increased pressure as our climate changes to plan for and manage impacts to their citizens and service areas. This service provides essential climate information to support Local Authorities that is tailored to the local area and easy to use for climate risk assessments, developing adaptation plans and building climate resilience.
Local Climate Reports
This service provides a local Climate Report for every part of the UK. It provides guidance on how to use the Climate Report for your Local Authority to assess your local climate risk and signposts to resources to help you take action in response to it. A Climate Report can be generated through the Climate Explorer.
