IHBC Wales trustee John Edwards has highlighted the opportunity for qualifying candidates – subject to age, income and residence – to access free retrofit training in Swansea on 10/11 October.
‘…Wales is the only place where training….is potentially fully funded’….
John Edwards said: ‘Free retrofit training re older buildings is potentially available if you meet the criteria and based in Wales, while there is a forthcoming in-person course in Swansea on the 10/11 October’.
‘It’s free for those that meet the criteria below. In fact Wales is the only place where training to achieve this qualification a Level 3 Award in the energy efficiency and retrofit of traditional buildings is potentially fully funded’.
The criteria for free of charge training:
- Be over the age of 19 years;
- Earn under £29,534 per annum;
- Live in Wales
