The English Housing Survey Technical Report (EHS) 2020 – 21 takes the form of an interview survey about housing and related topics, and a physical inspection of the condition of a random sample of the housing stock, to gather evidence on housing circumstances and the condition and energy efficiency of housing in England.
Due to the pandemic, this EHS had to be adapted to follow COVID guidelines and restrictions which impacted aspects including fieldwork, in-person surveys and response rates. Full details and findings are explored in the report.
