AHRC: Research calls for Community Heritage


The Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) is inviting proposals for enhancing outreach and engagement between research groups in the arts and humanities, and community groups and organisations interested in exploring their local histories and heritage.

 

The call is part of a number of opportunities with AHRC currently advertised, including:

 

New Trans-European Humanities Funding Opportunities Pre-announcement: A new €18 million HERA Joint Research Programme on Cultural Encounters will be launched early 2012

 

Accessing International Arts and Humanities Funding: Event on 29 November, London, aimed at arts and humanities scholars and will enable you to find out more about European International funding opportunities from AHRC and the European Commission

 

Collaborative Doctoral Awards, Closing date: 17 November, intended to encourage and develop collaboration and partnerships between Higher Education Institution (HEI) departments and non-academic organisations and businesses.

 

Connected Communities: Supplementary Call for Scoping Studies and Research Reviews focussed on Arts and Humanities Perspectives on Communities, closing date: 24 November;

As a part of the cross-Council Connected Communities Programme the AHRC is inviting applications from arts and humanities researchers for a further round of research reviews and scoping studies.

 

 

Connected Communities Programme Call for Research Development Awards: Research for Community Heritage, closing date 6 December; AHRC wishes to invite proposals for enhancing outreach and engagement between research groups in the arts and humanities, and community groups and organisations interested in exploring their local histories and heritage

 

New opportunities for European Project Funding:?A new call has been announced by the European Commission’s Socio-Economic and Humanities (SSH) Committee for collaborative research project to address nearly 30 challenges and topics. The call has a total budget of € 39 000 000 and applications must be submitted by 2 February 2012.   See: LINK
