Scotland’s HE indicator improves

The Scottish Government has reported that recent figures for its adopted national indicator for the historic environment, operated in partnership with The Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) and the Scottish Civic Trust, registers an improved performance.

The indicator assesses the Government’s aspiration to ‘Improve the state of Scotland’s Historic Buildings, monuments and environment’ by measuring the number of A-listed Buildings at Risk. In 2011 this has reduced to 8.2% of A-list buildings from 8.7% in 2009.
