The first printed version of the regular Newsletter for CARE (The Conservation Accreditation Register for Engineers) has been published, and includes an introduction by CARE’s Chair, IHBC member Jon Avent.
As well as reporting on the operation of the register, the issue also covers the stabilisation of Silbury Hill, Wilts, part of the AveburyWorld Heritage Site, and a reminder on the work of PHEW, the Panel for Historical Engineering Works at ICE.
