New society to celebrate Voysey

The Voysey Society has been founded to celebrate the oeuvre of architect and designer Charles Francis Annesley Voysey (1857-1941), one of the leading figures in both the Arts and Crafts movement and its immediate successors.

It is the Society’s objective to encourage research into all aspects of Voysey’s life & work and to help to maintain his legacy. Amongst other activities, the Society hopes to develop a programme of lectures and visits around the country.

They are now seeking expressions of interest in joining the Society. In particular they hope to fill key committee roles including Executive Chair and Secretary. If you are interested in membership, please contact the acting membership secretary, Dr Peter King (voyseysociety@gmail.com) with your name, address and email address. If appropriate, an indication of your willingness to take an active role will be especially welcome.

There is no commitment and no cost at this stage.
