The BBC’s history development team is currently putting together a brand new series for BBC One to be broadcast in July and is looking for historic locations to feature on the show.

“What we’re particularly interested in is places that will have something ‘going on’ at them between now and the end of August. We would be delighted to speak to any of your members who may have some work happening, or an event coming up, that they’d like us to feature.
The sort things we’re thinking of are:
- the restoration of a building or artefact (this could be anything from one tiny window or piece of furniture, to a whole room or a whole house)
- an important anniversary or historical event being celebrated ?- the unveiling of a previously unseen historical site or collection.
No story is too big or too small! We’re looking for locations from all across the country and would be very pleased to hear from any of your members who would be interested to become involved.”
