IHBC Llandudno School: Booking opens end Feb

Online booking for the IHBC’s 2011 Annual School in Llandudno (June 16th to 18th) will open at the end of February, Wales Branch lead organiser Nathan Blanchard and IHBC Director Seán O’Reilly announced today, ensuring that delegates will have time to book their places within this financial year.

Sean O’Reilly said: “As always, it’s been a big challenge for the Branch, not only organising the programme but balancing the need to keep costs down while providing the best CPD and professional networking experience we can.

And remember, when seeking employer support to attend the School, IHBC members can use their personal development plan and CPD resources to highlight the professional value of attending this key event in the conservation calendar.   Anyone concerned with current trends, insights to cross-sector working, guidance on resource opportunities, as well the kind of support and advice that we all need to secure conservation in these cash-strapped times, should be making their way to Llandudno, ‘the Queen of Resorts’, this June.”

As well as keeping overall costs as low as possible, while still ensuring a viable event, the IHBC will be offering up to ten bursaries of up to £200 each for delegates needing extra support.  Details will be provided on the school website when it is launched at the end of the month.  Separate bursaries will be offered by some IHBC Branches, including Wales. Please contact your local Branch for details.
