Welsh marine planning


The Welsh Assembly Government has begun consulting on a planning blueprint for the inshore and offshore marine areas of Wales.

The Marine and Coastal Access Act require the administration to plan, and issue the required licenses, for activities along Wales’ coastline and offshore waters. This will include marine conservation, off-shore wind farms, dredging and marine-based tourism.
