Applications are invited for a number of residencies at the British School at Rome, consisting of residential awards for Research in the Archaeology, History, Art History, Society and Culture of Italy from Prehistory to the Modern Period, 2011—12 are iv deadline 18 January 2011.
These awards, tenable for three or nine months, give scholars at different stages of their careers a valuable opportunity to pursue their research in Rome. They offer accommodation, food, 24-hour access to the School’s historic library collection and, in some instances, a research grant.
