Further to the issue of the revised National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) on 24 July, Historic England (HE) has produced a number of resources outlining the main changes and their implications for heritage.
In the Planning Bulletin HE writes:
The new resources include a briefing note:
- which outlines some of the main changes between the 2012 and 2018 documents
Also two online presentations:
- A presentation on the changes to heritage policy between the 2012 and 2018 NPPFs
- A presentation on the heritage policy in the NPPF that lies outside the historic environment chapter.
